I have 2 web sites going, many of the images I did with an ancient copy of Ulead photoimpact that are blurry.

I also have a recent version of Photoshop but don't really like or understand it.

So, my application is taking pictures off .PDF's/Camera of products and cutting them out & editing/formatting etc. Plus some drawing capabilities for logo's.

Can anyone recommend a Free software that I can compare to my Photoshop which might be easier to use/more intuitive?

I have a new laptop and have to settle on something.
