---- Color problems with ImageReady

Hi Johnhilde.

This is a common problem and descends from the enormously wide support of colour modes that Photoshop (and Imageready) support.

Not sure if there is a thread around here about this already, but there is some divided opinion about this net-wide.

You can force the colour to remain accurate to what you see in Photoshop by doing the following:

1. Set the colour setting in the edit menu to RGB LCD - best to do this before you open the document
2. Save for web
3. In the save for web tool box (same as image ready) there's a chevron based menu top right of the preview window - set that to standard windows colour (if on a mac I think)
4. There's another chevron to the right of the settings dialogue - set this to convert to sRGB
5. Save as normal

See if that works. I'm not saying this is best practice, but it does get pretty consistent results on images saved from Photoshop.
