Hi tedster,
in the first part of my cut & paste, the image called
class=\"LDG-LARGE ldg-large-ultime_segnalazioni_box_bg_02
(a css sprite used as banner for a section),
appears ALSO resized vertically when the width of the image is resized
in the browser page too small.
This phenomenon happens only in internet explorer.
In firefox all is ok.

What have I to do to force the height of the image to 39 pixels
(that is the real height I want...)
Please note that I tried with everycombination possible of height, resize, or other paramenters either in css or html...
Thanks in advance.
This problem is exausting me...
