Sometimes if I'm just surfing at random I'll check out some of those "artistic" flash sites, but usually I'm more interested in the Photoshop art design than anything else.
Generally I'll take the HTML versionof the site if one is offered as an alternative to Flash, I'm on broadband, but I couldn't be bothered to wait for the animations.
