Two questions, one of which BrianM seems to have answered implicitly:

1) All my favicons have dissappeared one by one from my ie-favourites. Is that really due to MS-updates?

2) What do requests for favicons in the logfiles actually say: Does it mean that
a) someone has put my site to his/her favourites/bookmarks? or
b) simply someone has visited my site with his/her browser looking for a favicon at any time?
