As part of a partnership with Facebook announced last December, Yahoo will begin allowing users to view their stream of Facebook updates - which Facebook calls the "news feed" - from Yahoo.com... Yahoo also plans to rename its existing Yahoo Profiles service, currently a hub where users can connect to other Yahoo users and can post information about themselves. Yahoo Pulse, as the service will be called, will offer tabs for different social networks, initially allowing users to switch between their Yahoo and Facebook networks, these people said. Yahoo plans to integrate other social networks too... [online.wsj.com...]

Unfortunately this WSJ article doesn't (and probably can't) disclose its sources, so the text is full of cryptic refernces such as "these people said". Neither Yahoo! or Facebook have many any official comment, affirming or denying.

The rumor mill I listen to expects to see this tomorrow - Monday June 7, 2010.
