some forums have mentioned that Y! has been spidering feverishly lately to add to their index and as they do, they've been lifting a number of filters (i hope it's just to test), which would explain why sites are bouncing all over the place. also would explain why some sites we have not seen for some time have suddenly floated back to the top again.

now... nobody's answered these 2 questions :

how can a site with absolutely NO relevance in a category with NO keyword (not even one) rank at #4?

how can a site that has not been updated for months still rank at #1 with absolutely NO change or bouncing around while ALL other sites are yo-yoing?
