Hey Steveb, is that 17,500 hits so far this month a lot for a 600 pages site (pages not even really updated nor interesting, a shopping cart..)? For me it is and still no change reflected on SERP - We have many sites and all have the same patern with slurp, large number of hits and very poor index refreshing. Just facts man... read other post, it seems to be quite common.

Besides that I have no clue what blessing you're talking about, how blessed am I when they waste my bandwidth while SERP's almost never change, explain?

In fact I would prefer them not to hit that hard but do a better job at as far as algo and index update but I just dream on...
MSN and Google hit the site much less while they reflect the slightest change in 1 to 5 days.
