My business site got penalized/sandboxed completly for some of my own stupid mistakes round the fall of '04. We were literally OUT of Yahoo! completely. I read over Yahoo's requirements, rewrote/repaired things that were wrong, and sent them an email. They took a look, and we were back in after 2-3 months. I think it is very possible to get back in Yahoo! when mistakes and problems are corrected. We now get good traffic and conversion from Yahoo!

I'd correct your mistakes, and maybe get some folks here to give your site a look to see if anything else needs to be done, before you contact Yahoo! for reinclusion. Remember to be nice when contacting them after all of your corrections are made...they don't owe us anything, but can give us a lot.
