This is my exact situation right now. I've sent in a reinclusion request, Yahoo confirmed the site is under penalty. For what? I don't know.
What if the site: search returns the homepage with description and all other pages URL only with no description and no cache? Penalty?
Hard to believe it is penalized, if it indeed is.
