Although it is very clear that fraud is a problem on alibaba and something which they need to work on but the site definitely provides a very valuable service to many people. It is hard to argue with the fact that in 2004 they averaged 300,000 visitors a day and the site generated somewhere around $4 billion in transactions. Despite these fraud problems obviosuly people find it a great place to get business done......
