Maybe I'm niave, but how on earth would they hand-tweak search results on an index that size anyway? I mean, with all the tens or hundreds of millions of search terms, phrases, and combinations, I consider it extremely impracticable for any type of hand-tweaking to be going on. I'll confess to only giving this thread a cursory look, so please forgive me if this has already been addressed, but I'd like to see a little tutorial or analysis by someone who knows what they're talking about, explaining how to know if some results are hand-coded. In other words, how would a hand-coded result look different than a normal algo-based result?
