What niche? I see it across dozens of areas. Anyhow, this would have been a better thread if we could maybe argue elswhere about whether or not they are doing it. I was more interested in talking about the impact since they obviously are hand editing serps...still. I hope those that do not know this are not charging clients for SEO... The future of what? There are 100's of milllions of queries daily. How are the Se's going to hand sort this again?
But I think it's a gross oversimplification to say that Yahoo hand tweaked the top five for hundreds of searches within this niche. Hand sorting is the future. It has to be.
