This is only true if you have excellent ranking already so for a LOT of people it works very well. I've been able to achieve a number one rank for several companies for keywords that were very competitive. One I remember off the top of my head was for a very popular one word generic keyword that was able to beat a popular section of Yahoo! into the number one position. What most people don't realize is that what is submitted through the program is then run through the regular ranking algorithm so it has to be 'optimized' correctly and often. Yahoo! does not tell you exactly how to optimize but by trial and error you can find the right mix and obtain first page rankings for pages you thought you couldn't. My feeds are rebuilt every day and there are millions of pages in them which makes it hard sometimes to see what works for every page but then again I don't know of any other form of 'seo' that can give you results in just one day and allow you to make changes and see those results the next day. Is this for everyone? No way. What works the least - sites that beg for lookers such as porn sites. What works the best - sites that are paying a high cpc for their keywords. The cpc price for paid inclusion is a low of a few pennies to a high of less than a dollar with most less $0.50! JAG
Search Submit does nothing for your ranks
