Enotalone, I would argue that the “'Also Try” feature is certainly unique. We’re finding it really helps people refine their search queries for more accurate results. For example, try doing a search for “Florence.” The Also Try feature will suggest “Florance, Italy” then “Hotels in Florence, Italy.” Automatically you’ll notice the hotels search shortcut is triggered and right at the top of the results the user can see the three most popular hotels in Florence, Italy with pricing, booking, etc.

This combo of Also Try and Search Shortcuts is a really powerful -- and unique -- way to help users pinpoint and get exactly what they want. That is, verses a search query that just generates a bunch of websites. Anyway, try it out, I think you'll find it helpful.
