Honestly they can't ban sites with affiliate links. I'd say that 90% of commercial sites have. Now if you just have links to a few sites with no use to the users, it's a different story. Either way, I say let the algo and the end user figure it out. Maybe you linked or got linked from a bad site...they checked it and decided that because of the affiliate links the ban was still warranted.
