can't see any benefit in what they have done. search.yahoo.com ... who's going to ever use that!
this is a classic example of a management team that wants to thrust forward in one area without yielding in other areas. Obviously search department wants to make a big push ahead, but the other depts. are not willing to yield their ground and revise the homepage...so they create a whole new area. Classic error.
