I think it's a band-aid solution, and not good enough to satisfy a disgruntled ex-client like myself.

That YSM blog post begins with "Your time is precious, so we’re going to try to give you some important news about blocked domains in a mere 250 words".

Humorous intentions aside, I find this disingenuous. Yahoo appreciates our time enough to spare us from reading a long post... but they don't spare us from the tiresome maintenance of blocked domains. I'd rather read a long article than manually add 500 crappy domains to a blacklist. I guess our time isn't that precious.
