Well, I have woken up today to another round of increased minimum bids from Y. They are obviously in 'self destruct' mode again. Many long standing keywords costing typically 12-15c now require bids of anything up to 40c with total disregard for historic CTR performance etc. Er, I don't think so, Im sorry Y but your traffic just aint worth it. My spend is continuing to shrink with Y almost daily and I am concentrating more and more effort on my campaigns with G. Sure, you can spend a lot with G but if you know what you are doing (and I like to think I have a reasonable idea) G will reward you with lower ad costs for relevent ads and good CTR etc. and you know what, G is very profitable for me right now AND it has the traffic, why would I waste my time trying to work with a 'money hungry' third tier search engine that sends me a lot of useless traffic?
