This just happened to me. I left my account off for about 3 months. I recently decided to give Overture another shot. I funded the account, checked my bids and let it go. At the end of the day I noticed my funds had been depleted and my account was in the negative. I called and talked with an account rep who told me that I was getting an exhorbitant amount of clicks on the content match. I told them that I hadn't run that campaign for over a year. How did it get turned on? At the end of the conversation I told my rep that if they credited my account with I would consider doing business with them again.
Two days later, I get an email from Overture notifying me that my account had run up $10,000 in a day. Apparently they issued a credit and turned my account back on without my knowledge. They issued me a credit for $9,000, and I told them that wasnt good enough. What makes this even worse is that I only had 4 conversions for that $10,000. That seems almost statistically impossible to me.
