What if you are a listing service and want to target localities? You are a real estate broker and you have local listings .. You think you'd be able to connect the local search to a web page which shows listing for that locality. How very silly.
I also think that you have to have a local address in order to buy an area. When you sign up it asks you for an address, and then you can specify the radius you want to target, up to 100 miles.
