sweet! thanks woz! :D will do! :)
============

from korea herald:

"The high brand recognition of Lycos could be the cornerstone of our future business in the U.S. market, when blended with our proven business model in the Korean market," said Daum chief executive Lee Jae-wong.

note:
when blended with our proven business model in the Korean market,"

I think that pretty much confirms my suspicions, imo: Its a way to buy a known US internet brand (though declining) at bargain basement prices in order to introduce all the funky korean stuff I've been talking about.....whether in search or portal service (like cafe) or other tons of unique korean portal features.

So, people who keep thinking or are "unconvinced" saying that its pointless to try to "fix" or "save" Lycos' search technos or whatever can relax....I bet they're gunna gut the sucka. Ever see "Pimp My Ride" on MTV or "Monster Garage" on Discovery channel?.... its kinda like that only with a portal.

LOL =^^=
