agreed with Shakeda. many friends of mine in china can not open websites hosted in overseas server regardless the language of the site. so it's not hard to imagine why chinese search engines are not listing your site or the result is not so great. it's necessary to have a local chinese server if your target audience is there. just like Yahoo moved over 100 servers into china for Yisou.
