Burma links to the wider net via cables and satellites that, at most, can support data transfers of 45 megabits of data per second.
Um, my web server has 100Mbps, compared to their 45Mpbs connection to the outside world, which is easy to compromise. Heck, my Comcast internet connection uses up to 20Mbps bandwidth just downloading a single file!
This really isn't much news except to highlight that Burma has no internet infrastructure worth mentioning. Almost anyone could easily DDOS their bandwidth, wouldn't require a botnet either. I would take them offline with just the bandwidth on a few of my servers and still have a lot of bandwidth to spare.
