So, I'm currently designing a website for a company, and we were wondering if it is okay to have a chinese domain -- are there any rules that I should be aware of?
The url will consist of chinese characters and then .com, NOT .cn or .com.tw or anything else.
Can I go ahead and register it?
I'm using [101domain.in...] to register this domain.
The website that I'm creating will allow its viewers to switch between Chinese and English. The Chinese URL, as well as a few other urls, will be parked domains, in the sense that they will be redirected to one page....
I just want to make sure that I don't do anything illegal and that I follow all of the rules....
(by the way, I read the following thread, but it is 9 years old now, so I'm assuming that it's not quite up-to-date...http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum32/6.htm)
