The documentation on the .asia registry site seems to explain it pretty clearly. They're letting people register during the landrush (i.e., now), and then they are going live with the domains in March.

I have all the documentation and there is no mention of any date other than 12th and 26th March, I have copied above ad verbatim their "rules".

If they feel that they're getting me to enter into a Dutch Auction then they're very mistaken, that's a very silly game to attempt to play.
