f I was you, (i know i am not and you seem to be in a very difficult position), i would the day before they leave on their month holiday, tell them you want a substantial raise, benefits etc..., or you leave,
If you're looking to screw them, you're not doing it right. You want to quit the day after they leave on vacation, not the day before.
But don't take that advice. It assumes that their leaving on vacation is some type of leverage. It's not. They would just move their vacation - not bow to pressure over it.
