Thank you, first of all and sincerely. I should do as much. I tend to write a new cover letter for each submission, but will try to make this a more prevalent focus.

Is this normal, though? I can take the differing opinions -- but if this level of abuse is a regular part of the industry then I'll find a new one to join.
