Keepass rocks and it's currently free but I'd pay for it.
You can't open the database without a master password, and it stores everything encrypted. Once you start using it you only have to remember a single password. :-) When you copy data from it, it only holds the data in the clipboard for 12 seconds. If you use the portable version, you can carry it with you on a USB drive. It is dependent on the 1.1 .net framework though, so throw a copy of the install (dontnetfx.exe) on the same drive. We keep all out passwords and software registrations in Keepass.
