I don't know if your idea will ultimately get banned so may be short lived, move quickly the amazon easy money is drying up fast...

I used to do very well with Amazon but they changed the rules a while back with landing pages and email marketing as web masters were making more on electronic items than the merchants.

You don't need amazons api anyway, there are plenty of scripts that parse the database
