Okay, so we have built this Amazon bot.
Each night it goes to amazon; scans all top products from all the categories for bestsellers, hot new releases, movers and shakers, most gifted, and most wished for products and fills a db.
Then it creates contextual, relevant Amazon ads based on content on any page with an easy to use drop in js code that anyone can use on their blog, website, dynamic content or anywhere.
The ad relevancy so far has been amazing.
That would work just like adsense - pickup what’s on the page and show Amazon ads with “your” Amazon associates id attached to those ads.
You can control number of ads to be shown, configure color, adshape, box size, etc
the webmaster applies to us => we approve and assign an ID => they pay a SMALL fee for use of the API => They insert their Amazon ID and the js code => it creates the ad box on their website => they keep 100% Amazon revenue.
Do you believe this could be viable? Any guidance, feedback would be highly appreciated. TIA.
( P.S: Amazon is cancelling their api next month, so probably we will be the only one with this :p )
