Hi,

I really hope someone can advise. We have multiple client websites within our shared hosting provider. I was made aware that our own site had been blocked as google had detected malware, at the same time the same website being viewed on a pc gave the pc a virus dropping in a program called Security Tool.

We found a script in the footer (its a Wordpress platform website) removed it. As a precaution we started checking our clients websites some running on the same platform, some just html sites and found numerous infected.

Whilst another member of staff who was not aware of the problems was viewing a single html holding page on a new website the Sucurity Tool program infected there pc, the code was even in a simple html holding page.

Anyway, it seems like multiple sites on our system are compromised with this, one google has now fully blocked too.

Please can anyone advise as this is a new and scary situation for us, if anyone from the UK wishes to help please get in touch privatley also.
