You keep reffering to this person as a "client", that is a bit of a stretch as it sounds as if she will go to great lengths to not pay for anything, including threatening to reneg on a "free" deal. It bothers me that you extended yourself in good faith, only to be further manipulated by this so-called "client". Tell her to remove the link and hit the bricks, why would you want to be associated her?

Which leads me to a "pet" concept of mine, maybe we could set up a web deadbeat site where web designer/developers could list the names and URLs of deadbeat clients, so as to avoid any further burns, I would also like the site to include the names of hosting companies that rip off designers clients, so that we could steer everyone away from them. Clients rip you off, and you worry about YOUR reputation...yikes! It really needs to be the other way around.
