Ok, here my first assessment over 25 estates, 20 US/english and 5 German:
Fresher sites got devalued, older sites did not change a bit in traffic.
Is the first thing that I see, if I put all 25 estates over each other. One particular thing shows: There have been 20% + changes in traffic a few days EARLIER to the roll out.
E.g.: one German site had 5 times the traffic on the 3rd of October. Now that could be the national holiday or the roll-out.
One very new site, which went live with 20 pages and some articles around security jumped up ridiculously after start and is gone virtually (+100 positions) right now.
That is all too much mambo jumbo for me and currently I will stick with
. unique content (extreme about that now)
. longer, more detailed texts around long tail keywords
. steady link development velocity over months
. schema.org where possible
in my eCommerce area!
