Feel sorry for the previous posters - epmaniac,serpsguy etc. I hope some people here don't bring you down further with their "just world fallacy" i.e. tell you that "you got what you deserved". As for myself, I decided early this month to base at least 30% of my income on fixed-income work - working for OTHER companies. Be it mowing a lawn, writing an article, cleaning a toilet, coding something. First time I've decided to do this since I went self-employed in 2004. Good luck to those who have 100% of their income largely dependent on Google....good luck.
