A number of people have tried to counter penguin by 301'ing their old domain to their new domain.
penalizeddomain.com > 301 > newcleandomain.com
From what I've read this works for a bit...then google catches up and whacks the new domain.
What if we used 302's instead? Would that get the new domain in trouble?
Our old domain has value because of offsite marketing and branding. So what I would like to do is to clone my bad domain content to a good domain. Would this new domain be penalized?
What if I used meta refresh redirects? Would that hurt to go to the new domain? How does google treat meta refresh redirects?
