Mod's note: This appears to be mainly about Google+, and I've added that to the thread title. I'm requesting no example queries be posted without first getting clearance from a mod.
I was searching a company name in google. I noticed two things.
1. There were no ads on the page except the ad for the company I searched for. This is a highly competitive area where I would have expected a full range of ads.
2. There is a box on the right with 'recent posts' and a big follow button that appears to be from Google circles.
I'm probably a bit behind the power curve here but it seems that it's probably critical to get on this bandwagon for things where a brand/company name is important
The recent posts seem to be from a company blog. I am not sure what needs to be done to get a blog to show the way it does
How does the company get a serps page for their name where there are no ads for competitors? Is this something you can buy into?
