The site with those numbers is absolutely not Google dependant. It has grown from advertising on the first site, blog advertising in my niche, and from my FB fan page. So I don't care if G likes it or not. If people do and I capture a percentage of my niche who come daily, then I have a targeted and specific audience available for my info site under no one's control but mine.
