Thanks, tedster. I've ended up sending it (the same list) for both sites, old and new, although I think I'm going to send just one RR, for the new site. I did some more reading on the issue of the correlation between the disavow submission and the RR, and found some reference to MC talking at a conference last fall saying something to the degree "give our system a day or two to incorporate the disavow data into the WMT account before sending an RR" .
In other words, it did not sound like the disavow data is processed automatically so I see no reason to wait for so long - any action related to the disavowed links (such as, one hopes, revoking of manual action) would have to come as a result of an RR. It basically sounded like a person should look at the disavow request already knowing why I submitted it in the first place (the info they can get from the RR that follows) and nothing can come out of a disavow request without a follow-up RR.
Begs a question: "why didn't they just attach the disavow upload form to an RR form?"
Anyways, thanks for your input! I've sent the disavow, will send RR early next week and see what happens.
