One of the sites I run uses a feed from Dmoz.org for some of its web directory section. Every so often, I get e-mails from SEOs, who seem to have never heard of Dmoz, asking that I remove a particular link. As the feed is from Dmoz, the links and data percolates through the web and these people really should be requesting that Dmoz removes the link. Are some SEOs completely unaware of how Dmoz is used throughout the web for web directory backfills?
