One of my main websites has been hit hard by the google updates since April 2012. I've been trying to fix all problems since (this is a 9 year old site which has always ranked highly and is top in its field. The domain is an exact match and I was guilty of some article marketing but who wasn't doing that?
In any case I've been checking my backlinks with ahrefs and it has detected 887 '302' re-directs as potential issues. These are basically static wordpress re-directs. I've been reading that a
'302 Redirect is a temporary redirect and passes 0% of link juice (ranking power) and in most cases should not be used'
They are basically serving the purpose of tweaking the wordpress URL's to an .html page with a directory structure.
Erm could those 302's re-directs be creating problems for my site? I have another smaller website based on the same design (aged long years as well) which hasn't been hit at all.
