A site I manage, we don't do PPC, no need for it, really. Old Domain, tons of inbound links, it's a BRAND.
PPC company sets up a proxy over a site and has AddWords traffic pointing to a diff subdomain but Same URI, but with the same content as original site. DNS Proxy. Caught Goog Ads bot going thru that proxy for every URL possible on the site.
Goog ate 403s due to reverse and forward lookups(;)). Headers Babby! headers!
Header is sent to a regular visitor when visited via proxy: noindex, not sure what goog bot gets from it.
We have a pretty steady traffic for the past several years on this site. Good Global Sales!
Will above trigger any kind of negative issues with our normal SERP?
