This should be one of the easiest things for computer programmers to fix, but they still haven't done it. Lame!
Don't be so sure. Newer is not necessarily better (or the other way around). For example, a WordPress post from 2008 about a particular function (the_permalink, for example), is just as relevant now as it was then. Of course that won't always be the case, but the problem isn't as simple as age. And if you make it about age, then people needlessly keep re-publishing the same stuff to keep up.
