The pages benefiting most from this have not had their content changed (other than replacing stock photos with originals)

Interesting...that was one of the things I did as well. Most every page on my site used to have (thumbnail size) stock photos on them, just to add a little flair. But I removed them in early December, purely on account of how expensive they're getting these days.

I'm sure there's a lot more to it than that, as I've done a lot of things to my site over the last 6 months, but it's interesting that we both saw some improvements after removing them.
