FWIW I'm seeing some horrible image movements with lots of Chinese rip-offs ranking well.

Believe this or not one site has ripped a load of watermarked images and simply written their own watermark over the top with absolutely no attempt to disguise the original owner!

Google's lost any semblance of control with images, period.
