Have made MAJOR changes to our entire web presence - really all you can think of has been done, removing old style link reciprocation pages entirely, redoing entire site navigation, disavow google tool, asked about 500 links to be disavowed, etc etc. Our site is a dominant player in our sector, one of the first in our sector back 13 years ago. Long site history, mentions by major space agencies in the news, etc.

SO ... using a well known rank checking program to monitor our positions on serps... we see major changes as of the last 5 days.

Noticing
1) Major move up on many of our terms in a big way
2) Stats moving higher/better etc does not reflect these changes really... a) these higher positions or b) more hits on keyword term incoming to our site

So I am a bit wondering what's up, I think we deserve the boost sometime soon, but strange to have most all our $ terms moving up overnight about 20-45% but not seeing this yet on total visits per day on site. I have noticed some changes in terms that are hitting us via Google referrers, a bit longer tail, better quality. I see people staying on our pages more, longer etc.

So what are your thoughts out there everyone? Is this just a situation where Google is taking it's time to find our new place in its updates and algo or what?
