Thanks for the previous answers on this page.
I have a question from a layman's perspective. With regards to the vary HTTP header. Does anyone know the exact code (for the vary HTTP header) that is supposed to be placed within the HTML of a web page?
Google seems to indicate that this is the code that goes on each page of a site that offers a redirection option:
GET /page-1 HTTP/1.1
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.0.4; Galaxy Nexus Build/IMM76B) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.133 Mobile Safari/535.19
(...rest of HTTP request headers...)
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
(... rest of HTTP response headers...)
I'm getting conflicting responses from my server people and my programmer with regards to the above code.
Is this the right code that is listed on every page? If not, can someone point me in the right direction?
