Yes, I use CGI.pm and have....

Do you think a simple.....
print "Content-type: text/html Vary: accept-encoding \n\n";
Presumably I then put that on the pages that might vary due to user agent. The other pages, that are just static html, where do they get the header from? I am assuming that the server generates a header and this will not be a problem for the dynamic pages. In other words, I don't get two headers generated for the dynamic pages, one from the code above and another from the server.
Sorry if I am muddled but hopefully this will be useful to others as well!
