Not sure how you remove them from GOOG.

I am working with a customer with horrible duplication issues right now. To eliminate duplication I am starting with:

1. A function that determines which pages are duplicates and adding <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX"> to the header.

2. WMT URL removal tool
