I can understand and appreciate your enthusiasm if you are new to this but if you read through some of the current threads in the google forum here you might be able to understand that now is not the best of times to be seeking advice for ranking a product -- it strikes a raw nerve.

Other than that if your competition is nil as you say then you shouldn't need to write any blog stuff. Just having the words in your product pages and a short write-up about them there should be enough to send you off to the races *sigh*.
